This is a personal view not that of the British Dyslexia Association( BDA). The BDA would like to add the condolences to Apples co founder Steve Jobs.
I am a big fan of Apple and the iphone as they are good for dyslexics because with the single application there is no clutter and they are not like other mobile platforms.
I have been watching the Apple keynote for the iphone 4s and last night I finished watching it and was very excited to talk to Apple’s Siri this is were you can talk to your iphone ask it questions, reply to text messaging and add reminders to the new reminder app. This will support dyslexics, fantastically. I can not wait to get my hands on the iphone 4s.
This morning we learnt of the sad loss of Steve Jobs former CEO and Co-founder of Apple. I think that Steve was one of the best inventors, one of the best business men and a world changer when it comes to technology. We now know that he not only battled with cancer during his life but he also battled dyslexia. His dyslexia I believe was what made him what he was, being able to think out the box, creating mobile devices that have revolutionised the world and changing the way we communicate with each other.
Steve Jobs was a world changer who I will put on a par with the Great Dyslexic’s Einstein and Edison, and now Jobs
